Conservation Leadership
The Nature Conservancy is the leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. They have made outstanding achievements against pressing conservation threats, and have protected more than 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers around the world since their founding in 1951.
Cause and Effect gave The Nature Conservancy the opportunity to illustrate to its constituents and donors the range of its volunteer base and the meaningful effect each has on the organization and the environment.
In 2010 The Nature Conservancy invited 10 world-renown designers to create new objects from sustainable materials sourced from around the world. The resulting exhibition, Design for a Living World, debuted in Chicago in spring 2011. Tandemodus worked with The Nature Conservancy in Illinois to produce materials for the opening celebration.
