The Challenge
In order to produce relevant research in a rapidly changing environment, it must be timely. CEOs for Cities is a national network of urban leaders dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities. And when CEOs for Cities develops and promotes actionable research for it’s members, they call on Tandemodus to produce user-friendly designs of complex data and ideas—in short order.
The Solution
What began as a request to design a keynote presentation of City Vitals research development at a bi-yearly national members meeting, turned into much more. Tandemodus evaluated the complex data and presented the idea of producing a corresponding pocket-sized reference book for a members takeaway.
The Result
After the national meeting, CEOs for Cities received an overwhelming request for additional copies, which turned into a series of self-published revenue opportunities for Chicago-based nonprofit. Subsequently, Tandemodus established a flexible design system with accessible content to produce consumer-friendly research.
